Honor Flight Arizona fly's WWII Veterans to their Memorial in Washington DC. This is free to the veterans and sponsored through donations from grateful Arizonians.
Since America believed it was important to honor our veterans by building a memorial, Honor Flight believes it is important that they actually get to see it. Time is running out, the youngest WWII Veteran is 80 years old.
Our event: We have teamed up with the Arizona Diamondbacks to raise money to fly Veterans in September. July 4th is Military Appreciation Day at the ball game. The game is between the Diamondbacks and Dodgers. Ticket purchased through Honor Flight are at a reduced rate and a portion of the tickets purchased will be donated to our Veterans.
What is more American than a 4th of July ball game, the Dodgers and some apple pie! Okay, apple pie not included.
Ticket information can be obtained by emailing www:honorflightnaz.org or call 928-778-9421
