A "cool, leisurely" way to spend a July day! An hour and 45 min. trip on a 56 passenger bus. Cost is $10 with a $10 or $20 casino money reimbursement upon arrival. And an extra $10 if it is your birth month. Be sure to bring current photo ID plus another form of ID. Bus will leave from Mayer Elder's club at 7:30 a.m. Get a Scratch Ticket when you leave - for next trip (worth $4 to $100). 400 slots (starting at 1 cent); Card Games and 10% senior discount @ Gift Shop and Restaurant and Grill. Complimentary soda, coffee, tea all day. We will being boarding the bus there at 3:00 p.m. and be back at Mayer Elder's Club at 5:00 p.m. Nice Day! Not too long, not too short. The Chino Valley Farmers Market will re-open on Thursday, June 3 in the Bonnfire Grill Restaurant parking lot at 1667 S. Highway 89. This yearmarket will include farm-fresh, locally grown produce, meat, honey, agricultural crafts, body care products, gourmet foods, starter plants, advice from local growers, and much more! The market will occur Thursday afternoons through September 30.

August 15th is the last day to apply to host a foreign exchange student hoping to come to Arizona to attend high school for the academic year. Pacific Intercultural Exchange has students from Hong Kong, Korea, China, Venezuela, Brazil, Germany, Spain, Thailand and many other countries who want to learn about American culture. The students speak English and have their own spending money and medical and accident insurance. Volunteer host families provide meals, a caring home environment and some transportation. Students arrive in August and either stay for a semester or academic year. Treat your family to an international Staycation. Host a foreign high school student.
