Coconino and Tonto national forest officials will host three public meetings November 15, 16, and 17 about the future management of Fossil Creek.

The Fossil Creek planning team is seeking public input on how to
manage the Fossil Creek Wild and Scenic River.

The first meeting is 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. November 15 at the Payson
Public Library, 328 N. McLane St., Payson, Ariz.

The second meeting is 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. November 16 at the
Arizona Game and Fish Office, 5000 W. Carefree Blvd, Phoenix, Ariz.

The third meeting is 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. November 17 at the
Radisson Woodlands Hotel, 1175 W Route 66, Flagstaff, Ariz.

United Animal Friends' (UAF) has launched its "Winter Blast Auction" just in time for the holiday season. The online auction provides an easy way to do shopping while helping area animals. There are nearly 600 items including artwork, collectibles, antiques, jewelry, household items, professional services, gift certificates, pet-related items, tools, electronics, sporting goods, and other gift items.
The auction runs through November 22. To register online, bidders should go online or go to UAF's website at UnitedAnimalFriends.org
