This year Old Town Mission will hold its Thanksgiving Turkey and Food Drives at the Cottonwood Safeway, Fry's Food Store and Wal-Mart on Friday and Saturday Nov. 19 and 20 from 9:00am to 6:00 pm.
The food collected during these food drives will provide Holiday Dinner and turkeys, as well as weekly groceries to struggling families throughout the winter months. Shopping lists will be provided at all stores and are available online.
The Mission will distribute Thanksgiving Turkeys to registered families on Monday, November 22nd. Registration for families and individuals will run from now through Nov. 19th during the hours of 9:00am to 3:00pm at the Mission and anyone interested in receiving a turkey is encouraged to register. The annual Thanksgiving Holiday Luncheon will be served to clients at the Old Town Mission on Wednesday, Nov. 24th at 12 Noon. It will be a delicious traditional Thanksgiving dinner and is offered free to anyone.

This lecture focuses on the history of ranching in Northern Arizona with detailed descriptions of how a cowboy's work and lifestyle have changed over the past 100 years. This presentation won the prestigious Philip A. Danielson Award from Westerners International for Best Western History Presentation in 2009.
