Stars of the Season Family Planetarium Program, a Prescott holiday favorite, returns to Prescott Public Library on Tuesday, December 7. Show times are 5:30 and 6:30 p.m., in the lower level Founders Suite of the library at 215 E Goodwin.
Brian DeWells' has presented well over 1,600 planetarium shows in schools, recreation centers, senior centers and libraries throughout Arizona. His always entertaining and informative astronomy programs center on finding the constellations in the real night sky using a sophisticated miniature planetarium projector and a 15-foot portable planetarium dome.
As those who come every year know, seating is on the floor, so bring pillows and blankets. Stars of the Season fills up quickly every year. Make your reservations early, because the show is limited to 25 seats per show. Reserve your space by calling the Ask a Librarian Desk at 777-1526. The program is free and open to the public.
