For every ticket sold December 14th for Red Rock Fantasy at Los Abrigados Resort and Spa, the Greater Verde Valley Chapter of the Yavapai College Foundation will receive $1. All proceeds will benefit student scholarships for classes and textbooks.

"Music for Lunch" features holiday favorites with violinist Marie Rhines Wednesday, December 14, at noon.
Award-winning violinist, composer and singer Marie Rhines brings classical as well as traditional European, Americana and Western themes to her music. Originally from New England, she now resides in Prescott, where she has been researching and writing Western music as she studies the culture of the American cowboy and cowgirl. RECREATION VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE
The Prescott Valley Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting its annual registration and managers meeting on Tuesday, December 14th at 6:00 pm in Room 331. Leagues will be offered for Men, Women, and Coed with fee of $150.00 due that evening during registration. All games will be played at Glassford Hill Middle School starting the week of January 10, 2011 with games schedule on the hour starting at 6:oo pm and the last at 9:00 pm.
Late registration will be accepted as opening are available and will be taken at the Parks & Recreation office located on the 4 th floor Civic Ctr. 7501 E Civic Circle. Late registration fees will be $170.00 with a final deadline of December 20, 2010 at 4:00 pm.

Mainstream (Beginners) class is at 6:30 PM & Plus is at 8:15 PM to 9:30 PM
