The Town of Prescott Valley offers residents the opportunity to dispose of their cut Christmas trees after the holiday season. Beginning Wednesday, December 22, 2010 the Prescott Valley Parks and Recreation Department will accept cut trees to be placed into its specialty dumpster located at the south entry parking lot in Mountain Valley Park.
The Town asks that residents remove all nails, stands, lights and decorations from their trees before placing them into the dumpster. Artificial trees, wreathes, yard debris and household waste are not permitted to be placed in the dumpster as part of this program.
Christmas Tree Drop-Off hours will be dawn to 10:00 p.m. daily until Friday, January 14, 2011 and is offered to all Prescott Valley residents at no charge. For more information residents are encouraged to contact the Prescott Valley Parks and Recreation Department at 759-3090.
